The districts of Viana do Castelo, Porto, Aveiro, Braga, Vila Real, Bragança, Viseu, Guarda, Coimbra, Leiria, Castelo Branco. Portalegre, Évora and Beja will be under a yellow warning between 09:00 and 18:00 on Saturday due to the persistence of high maximum temperatures.

For today, the IPMA has also issued a yellow weather warning until 21:00 for the district of Faro also due to hot weather.

Temperatures are set to hit highs of 36 degrees in the Algarve today.
