“Only 21% say that sufficient support is available for their
integration”, said the secretary general of the FNE, João Dias da Silva, based
on the results of the consultation carried out in the first week of July.
Asked about the integration of immigrant and refugee
students, most teachers (66.2%) said they have foreign students in their schools,
but only 21.1% say that there is sufficient support.
The rest were divided between those who did not know whether
or not there was sufficient support (44.3%) and those who considered that there
was a lack of means (34.5%).
