The Russian economy is set
to shrink less than expected, with a return to growth in 2024 according to Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov.

The minister has forecast
GDP contraction of 2.9 percent compared to the previously predicted four
percent. This is in contrast to the International Monetary Fund forecast
of 6 percent contraction in Russia this year.
