Between 28 September and 5 October, the price of a basket of essential food items rose to 210.83 euros, 40 cents more than the previous week.

In the last week, the ten products with the biggest price increases were the following:

Tomato pulp (9% more);

Courgette (8% more);

Spaghetti (7% more);

Onion (plus 7%);

Black Swordfish (plus 6%);

Crimped lettuce (plus 6%);

Ground roasted coffee (plus 4%);

Cod (plus 4%);

Tuna in vegetable oil (plus 4%);

Whole grains (3% more).

Meat and fish are the food categories with the biggest price increases since the beginning of the war, according to the organisation's price monitoring.
