These seven mainland districts will be under a yellow warning for rain between 03:00 and 15:00 on Wednesday.

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) has also placed the districts of Porto, Viana do Castelo and Braga under a yellow warning because strong winds, with gusts up to 85 km predicted between midnight and 9am on Wednesday.

The districts of Porto, Faro, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga are also under yellow warning due to the forecast of rough seas between 03:00 on Thursday and 03:00 on Friday.
