The highest point in the Algarve, located at an altitude of 900 metres, in the middle of the Monchique mountains, will be the end of a journey of 186.3 kilometres, departing from Sagres.

The race day starts at 10:55am and includes four counts in the mountains, the last of which coincides with the finish line.

The 49th Volta ao Algarve started on Wednesday, in Portimão, and ends on Sunday, with a time trial in Lagoa.
