The strike by districts is once again the protest chosen by the platform of nine teachers' union structures, which includes the National Federation of Teachers (Fenprof) and the National Federation of Education (FNE).

Contrary to what had been happening in recent months, for this district strike, the ministry did not request minimum services.

After starting in Porto at 12:00 today, the strike will cover all districts in the country in reverse alphabetical order, from Viseu to Aveiro, and ends in Lisbon.
