All districts in mainland Portugal and the island of Porto Santo are at a very high risk of exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).

With high levels of exposure to UV radiation are the islands of Madeira, São Miguel and Faial, in the Azores.
The islands of Terceira and Flores, in the Azores, have a moderate risk of exposure to UV radiation.
On Tuesday, mainland Portugal and Porto Santo will remain with very high levels of exposure to UV radiation.
