The French designer has given its name to a boutique hotel on the Alentejo coast. It has 13 rooms, with luxurious interior design, and a restaurant with seating for 60 people.

Bookings are already open on the Vermelho Hotel website, with the first dates available from April 1st. After much anticipation, Christian Louboutin's project in the village of Melides is now operating in soft opening and receiving friends and special guests of the fashion designer.

This, his first boutique hotel, was designed by Madalena Caiado, whose mission was to combine the local rural environment with Louboutin's taste. Spanish restorer and design consultant Patricia Medina was responsible for the luxurious decoration, full of careful details and inspirations with Portuguese, Moroccan, Spanish, Egyptian and French influences.

This house "encourages" you to "live la vie en rouge", as the website says, a pun on Édith Piaf's theme, "La Vie en Rose", where "pink" is replaced by "red".
