Lisbon: The high temperatures of Friday are to continue on Saturday with thermometers hitting the 34 degree mark on both days. On Sunday there will be some slight cloud cover and it will feel cooler with highs of 31 degrees. On Monday blue skies are forecast and temperatures are to rise again to 34 degrees.
The north: It will be feeling very hot on Saturday with highs of 37 degrees expected. On Sunday it is to feel cooler with highs of 32 degrees but it is to get hotter again on Monday and Tuesday seeing thermometers reaching 35 degrees, with temperatures only expected to drop by the end of the following week.
The centre: Clear skies are predicted throughout the weekend with temperatures reaching 37 degrees on both days. On Monday and Tuesday, it will be feeling exceptionally hot with maximum highs of 39 degrees. From Wednesday cloud cover is to increase but temperatures will remain around 37 degrees.
The south: Thermometers are on the rise this weekend with temperatures hitting 33 degrees on Friday, 35 degrees on Saturday, 36 degrees on Sunday and 37 degrees by Monday. Night-time temperatures will also be very warm, averaging lows of 21 degrees and the high temperatures are to remain for the following week.
Madeira: The weekend is to be cloudy with some sunny spells and highs of 26 degrees. Monday is to be sunny and bright with highs of 31 degrees. Tuesday and Wednesday are to be warmer still with highs of 32 degrees and nightly lows of 25 degrees.
The Azores: Rain is forecast for Saturday when temperatures are to reach highs of 23 degrees with lows of 19 degrees. Sunday is to be cloudy with some sunny periods and highs of 23 degrees. The cloud is to start to clear from Tuesday but the chance of rain is to increase as the week progresses.
