This concert allows our audience to assess the progress of those young people who performed for us last year, and to give their support to students performing in public for perhaps the first time.

This annual concert gives further support to the Conservatório Regional do Algarve Maria Campina in Faro, where each of these youngsters is a student.

AHA has been a supporter of the students at the Conservatório now for some years, and we are keen to continue to offer support to those youngsters who may need it.

Performing for us this year before the interval will be two thirteen-year-olds, Vasco Cavaca and Richard Rait; and after the interval the older Angélica Ryzhak, Margarida Chen and Vasco Barradas. Between them, they will play works by Bach, Haydn, Grieg, Richardson, Pierne, Luis Costa, Moskovski, Glinka-Balakirev, Liszt and Borodin-Gryaznov.
