IMI is paid in a single payment, during the month of May, when its amount is less than 100 euros. If the amount is between 100 and 500 euros it can be divided into two instalments paid in May and November. If you exceed 500 euros, it is divided into three instalments to be paid in May, August and November.

According to data from the Tax and Customs Authority (AT), provided in response to Lusa, this year 4,082,440 IMI assessments were issued, 916,359 of which were up to 100 euros.

In this total, there are still 2,486,548 with tax amounts between 100 and 500 euros and 679,533 above 500 euros.
