In Portugal, to date, almost 80% of bookings are from foreigners, more than the 77% verified last year, ahead of countries like Italy (77%), France (62%) and Spain (56%).

"The boost in bookings from foreign tourists is proof of the growing activity in the tourism sector over the last 12 months in Portugal. As for provisions for late summer and early autumn, 87% of total hotel bookings for the month of September are international travellers, reaching 91% for October".
