According to a report by idealista, when questioning the Portuguese who are thinking of moving house in a context where purchasing power is crushed by inflation and interest rates on mortgage loans are on the rise, the answers were no different. “The intention, when the subject is the exchange of house, also falls to the acquisition, with 90% wanting to buy against the 10% of the lease”, indicates Marta Almeida referring to the results of the survey carried out by DS Imobiliária.

Of the Portuguese families who are thinking of changing homes, 58% say that it will be for their own home, while for 25% the objective is pure investment. Already 17% say they would like to have a holiday home, reveal the same data.
