“The plan to sell a stake in the Portuguese TAP is interesting for us”, said Lufthansa, in a note sent to Agence France Presse (AFP).
The company guaranteed that the two companies can complement each other “very well, particularly thanks to TAP's network of routes to and from South America”.
The Government has announced its intention to sell at least 51% of TAP's capital, reserving up to 5% for workers, said the Minister of Finance, Fernando Medina, at the end of the Council of Ministers.
"This is the minimum percentage", he highlighted.
