According to information available on the Portuguese Navy website, the bars of Aveiro, Caminha, Douro, Esposende, Figueira da Foz, Vila Praia de Âncora, Póvoa de Varzim, Viana do Castelo, Vila do Conde, São Martinho do Porto and Ericeira are closed.
The Leixões bar is closed to vessels of less than 35 meters in length.
Due to the swell, IPMA placed the districts of Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra, Leiria and Lisbon under a yellow warning until 6 pm today and Beja, Faro and Setúbal until 12 pm, Northwest waves of 4 to 5 meters are expected.
The yellow warning is issued by IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities depending on the meteorological situation.
In recent days, part of the coast of mainland Portugal has been under a red warning, the most serious, due to sea conditions.
