According to Sapo news, the new studio is located on Avenida da República and with a total area of 156 m2, it is the first space in this format, outside of a shopping center, completely dedicated to the inspiration and planning of the different rooms of the house.
It incorporates a personalised service, with a special focus on kitchens and wardrobes, where customers have the possibility of planning their home and ordering all products from the IKEA range.
In addition, IKEA is now offering a mobile collection service in the parish of Avenidas Novas. IKEA customers can collect their orders at the Jardim do Carregal Parking Lot (Av. Visconde de Valmor 53, 1050-041 Lisboa), during the following time windows: Mondays; from 12pm to 2pm, Wednesdays from 12pm to 2pm; and Saturdays, from 11am to 1pm. The mobile collection service now costs 9 euros (the previous price was 14 euros).
"The Planning Studios are currently IKEA's main expansion tool in Portugal and a format in which we believe a lot. We know that in these times of uncertainty, the Portuguese turn to their home as a place of safety and that the probability of feeling good in our home is greater when it reflects our personality. Lisbon is the region where the average size of houses is smaller than in the rest of the country, despite having more rooms, and we want to reinforce our commitment to helping families make their home a space of comfort and harmony", explains, a statement, Erin Jie Shi, Commercial Director at IKEA Portugal.
