The new establishment is located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Saldanha hotel (Rua Engenheiro Vieira da Silva nº2), with a capacity for 42 seats.
This is the brand's 27th store in Portugal and the 14th store in greater Lisbon. With this opening, 14 jobs were created, bringing the total number of employees in Portugal to around 330.
To celebrate, on the opening day, the first 100 customers to visit the store will receive an offer from the brand, designed specifically for this opening.
“With this new opening, we consolidate our presence in the capital, it is the fourteenth store we have opened and the first in partnership with the Hilton hotel chain. Lisbon is the city with the most Starbucks stores in Portugal, as it is a meeting point of cultures, where the passion for coffee is experienced intensely. Our intention is to continue investing in new stores in the country, in order to be where our customers want us to be.
“Now our visitors will be able to take advantage of yet another welcoming and inspiring space to enjoy a unique experience”, comments António Romero, General Director of Starbucks Portugal and Spain.
I will be so blessed if I I I get the opportunity to work here .I am from Nepal with the experience of Barista .I don't have temporary residence card.My dream is work in Starbucks.

The last thing we need is another Starbucks

Starbucks needs to brew fresh American coffee. When I order it they make traditional local coffee and add water to it, the result is very light coffee and inconsistent taste every time.

Starbucks is like fake news on The beautiful and delicious Portuguese coffee.
We do not need the American " only we know how to brew coffee" multinational.
They are only better in making a coffee un-affordable and bad tasting..
Go Portugal, stand up and defend your 60 cent Bica's !

In visiting Portugal, and while in my own country of Canada, I would rather support local cafes than another American conglomeration. Their inferior coffee and unhealthy sweet drinks should stay in the USA. Help keep your culture Portugal! Keep US business out.

A "welcoming and inspiring space to enjoy a unique experience”. Marketing gobbledygook, but I think it means you can go there to inspire your persona and feel unique. If you and your friend both order a latte, you can always make yours just a little different. On the other hand, if you're happy with the inner you, I'm with Hans 100 percent. There's much more enjoyment going to a local Delta coffee shop and having a Bica....two sugars please.

Is this news outlet just about resending company media statements, or does it critically assess the content?
Starbucks are a plague, and provide no value, except to themselves- why does it seem that you support them?
Starbucks, MacDonalds and similar are NOT needed nor wanted in towns and cities across Portugal or any other European city, and I for one will never step inside any of them, as there is a principle to support traditional and local businesses (which are a better quality by the way).
Starbucks’ intention and strategy is to drive these local businesses down and close them; then when there are none left they jack up their pricing.
From the responses to this article it seems the majority agree!
