According to data published by the EU statistical office, the highest adjusted average annual full-time salaries were reported by Luxembourg (€81,100), followed by Denmark (€67,600) and Ireland (€58,700).
At the opposite extreme, with the lowest salaries, are Bulgaria (€13,500), Hungary (€16,900) and Greece (€17,000).
Portugal ranks 18th out of 27 Member States with an adjusted average full-time annual salary of €22,933, which compares to €21,131 in 2022.
