“Any decision is a good decision, given the delay we have and, above all, because this decision will benefit from a study and solid technical information”, said António Costa.
Costa said that there has already been “other very solid technical information that supported previous decisions”, but pointed out that this has the advantage of having been made by a commission that was constituted in a “completely random way in relation to who has to decide”.
Even though the decision on the location of the airport is taken by a political decision-maker, the prime minister considered that what is important for citizens, taking into account the project's large investment, is that the decision can be taken “based on the best technical information that is available.”
The chief executive also admitted to feeling “frustration” at not having completed major projects that are ongoing, but pointed out that what is important is that the country does not become “frustrated”.
“So that the country does not become frustrated, it is essential that the things that are in progress continue to be in progress”, he said, giving as an example the work on the new surface metro line between Odivelas and Loures, which will be launched this week, and the works of high-speed rail.
With regard to the airport, Costa said that the next Government, when it comes into office, “is in a position to decide the location of the airport”.
The comment of an already proven corrupt and incompetent PM who apparently has been caught in the act but, miraculously, only in Portugal, continues to participate in decisions contrary to the interests of our little but precious country: "Any decision is good!" He contradicts himself when recognizes that many different solutions are possible and for sure some are better than another ones when you consider not only the "technical" side but also the dimensions of the case such as the social, moral, sustainability, and future wellbeing of the populations affected by that "technical" solution! To the PR Marcelo RS: a has Antonio Costa being demitted for fraud and corruption or unconsciously you are letting him to continue in fonctions, to make decisions and participate in critical issues as this is the case and just a critical example? This just in Portugal!

The best airport is the existing airport. The world does no need more, bigger airports. We absolutely need less flights, less planes, less contamination and emissions before it's too late.
