This is only one of the many dangers to frogs, many species of which are in serious decline worldwide. Climate Change, pesticides, habitat destruction, disease, and invasive species are other threats to these amphibians. Many die as roadkill victims. The main disease that is threatening extinction of species is the chytrid fungus that decimates populations. I write as a member of SAVE THE FROGS! international charity working to protect all amphibians. Toads, newts and salamanders are also in danger.
