Comboios de Portugal told Lusa that the circulation of trains between the Cais do Sodré and Algés stations was resumed on Tuesday night, but that "not all the usual trains are running, taking into account that the problem has not has been fully resolved."
"We had to reduce supply, there are only six trains running during rush hour and three per hour outside rush hour and with stops at all stations", said the source, who was unable to specify the average normal circulation.
Train circulation on the Cascais Line has been suspended since 8:10 am on Tuesday between the stations of Cais do Sodré (Lisbon) and Algés (Oeiras), due to a breakdown in an electrical substation.
