“Among the more than 40 films of various genres and nationalities that can be seen on the 13th, 14th and 15th of May, with tickets priced at 3.5 euros, the Cinema Festival also celebrates national production”.

The Cinema Festival took place for the first time in 2015, having been interrupted in 2020 and 2021, due to the covid-19 pandemic.

The initiative is supported by the Cinema and Audiovisual Institute (ICA), the Portuguese Association for the Defense of Audiovisual Works (FEVIP), the Association for the Collective Management of Copyright and Cinematographic and Audiovisual Producers (GEDIPE) and the Inspection- General Cultural Activities (IGAC).
