An easyJet flight, travelling between Lisbon and Manchester, in the United Kingdom, on Sunday, was delayed for more than an hour for a surprising reason, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
The reason for the postponement was revealed by the aircraft pilot himself, who took to the microphone to explain to passengers what had happened.
Starting by explaining that he only had two sandwiches to give to his team, the pilot said he felt the need to leave the aircraft and return to the airport to get more food.
"Now, yes, we are ready to take off. Thank you for your patience", said the man, after arriving at the plane with a box of pizza. The moment was recorded in a video seen by the Daily Mail.

Which is what you should expect if you fly low cost.

Why did he not just buy sandwiches from the onboard catering? If there were no sandwiches onboard there are sales points near the fates. Why go into the terminal to buy food that needed cooking?
