The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) predicts rain for almost the entire country today, mainly in the North and Centre, with temperatures reaching 24ºC in Madeira and Faro and not exceeding 13ºC in Guarda.
In Lisbon, thermometers will reach a maximum of 21ºC and drop to a minimum of 12ºC. In Porto, temperatures will not exceed 17ºC maximum and 11ºC minimum.
On Saturday the weather remains unstable. The rain continues to hit the north of the country and the island of Madeira. While the rest of the country remains partly cloudy or slightly cloudy. Temperatures are to reach 26ºC in Faro, 23ºC in Beja and Setúbal, and 22ºC in Évora, Santarém and Castelo Branco. In Lisbon, thermometers will reach a maximum of 20ºC and a minimum of 13ºC and in Porto a maximum of 17ºC and a minimum of 11ºC.
For Sunday, the IPMA only predicts rain in the Azores and Madeira. Mainland Portugal will be "partly cloudy" in the North and Center and "slightly cloudy" in the South. Temperatures will rise to 25ºC in Faro and Beja, 24ºC in Évora, Setúbal and Santarém and 23ºC in Castelo Branco and Braga. In Lisbon they should not exceed a maximum of 21ºC and a minimum of 13ºC and in Porto a maximum of 19ºC and a minimum of 10ºC.
What's going on with the weather in Portugal? It's still winter. 6°C too cold for the time of year.
