This review of the IRS campaign comes a month before the deadline for taxpayers to submit their annual income declaration, which ends on June 30th.

According to the Ministry of Finance, as of May 29, 3,549,462 declarations had been settled, with 1,901,064 refunds having been paid, totalling 1,833.3 million euros.

The average value of refunds this year and so far amounts to 964.35 euros, with the average payment period for this tax refund being 22.4 days.

As usually happens, the IRS's annual settlement of accounts results for some taxpayers not in a refund, but in a collection note, and so far 419,614 of these collection notes have been issued, totalling 297.86 million euros, with an average value of 709.84 euros.

Since the IRS campaign began on June 1st, taxpayers have submitted 543,613 IRS declarations, of which 1,580,768 correspond to automatic IRS and 2,950,443 to normal delivery of Model 3.
