“The year-on-year rate of change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) will have decreased to 2.8% in June 2024, a rate lower by 0.3 percentage points (pp) than observed in the previous month”, states the quick estimate published by INE.

Core inflation, which excludes unprocessed food and energy products, was 2.3% in June, compared with 2.7% in May.
