2024 trends

The current trend is comfortable friendly shapes, like rounded tabletops and softer curves which allows people to engage more with one another. So oval and semi-oval shapes which are also becoming more popular with coffee tables. These are moving towards lounge furniture, too – so curved backrests and round tubes, plus vertical bars and optical variations.

Smarter technology

Life’s outdoor furniture has seen advances on technology over the decades. Sun, wind or rain – Slings’ tough and durable weather-resistant furniture and cushions can withstand all seasons. Press on the cushions or stand them on their side and they’re dry in no time. So, there’s no need to cover up or put away, and then wait for next Spring.

Have you heard of RuCore? It’s made from a rubber core and looks like rope. It’s used in braided furniture, so

only the outer surface gets wet. Best of all, RuCore is versatile and can be used for wickerwork, placemats and rugs. It absorbs very little moisture and is durable.
