The store, which opens on August 8th, is located on the 1st floor of the Aqua Portimão Shopping Centre (Rua de São Pedro 72).
This is the 31st store to open in Portugal, with a floor area of 51 m2 and seating for 12 customers.
“We are very excited to be strengthening our presence in the Algarve. This is the third store we have opened in the region and it is located in an important shopping area of Portimão. This location is visited seasonally by thousands of tourists who are already familiar with our brand.
“We therefore believe that this store has great potential for growth and will be a hit with locals and tourists visiting the region. Our intention is to continue investing in new stores in the country so that we can be where our customers want us to be,” says António Romero, General Manager of Starbucks Portugal and Spain.
Who drinks that? Portugal serves really good coffe for a very reasonable prize, no need for Starbucks.

I’m sure the locals won’t drink their terrible coffee at ridiculous prices!! Portuguese coffee is way better and way cheaper…….the tourists can keep Starbucks!!

Strengthening their presence? More like contaminating us with their overpriced toxic drinks! That's one store I won't be frequenting.
