The north: Rain on Friday is to continue on Saturday with some heavy showers and periods of sunshine. On Sunday the rain is to ease slightly but some light showers are forecast and temperatures are to reach highs of 23 degrees. The rain is to continue on Monday but by Tuesday it is to be mainly dry.
The centre: Intermittent heavy showers are forecast on Saturday when temperatures are to peak at 24 degrees, with lows of 14 degrees. On Sunday it is to be mainly dry with a slight chance of rain and highs of 24 degrees. From Monday a mixture of sunshine and intermittent cloud cover is predicted with highs of 25 degrees.
The south: Rain is forecast on Saturday it a chance of prolonged sunny periods and temperatures peaking at 22 degrees. On Sunday it is to be mainly dry with a slight chance of rain and highs of 24 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. From Monday it is to be mainly dry and mild with average highs of 25 degrees.
Madeira: Heavy cloud is expected over the weekend although there will be some sunny spells and temperatures are to peak at 24 degrees with lows of 19 degrees. From Monday the cloud cover is to lessen and temperatures are to rise to highs of 26 degrees.
The Azores: A mainly dry weekend is forecast for the weekend with highs of 25 degrees and lows of 19 degrees. From Tuesday the rain is set to return but it will remain mild with average highs of 26 degrees.
