According to the organisation, tickets went on sale online on Wednesday and sold out within 48 hours.

The event, which takes place every two years at Herdade da Granja, in Idanha-a-Nova, Castelo Branco district, will be in its 15th edition.

The promoters said that the next Boom Festival will have the theme “The ritual of dance”.

“The number of tickets offered for sale is intentionally limited, to guarantee harmony between the human presence and the natural environment of Boomland's 150 hectares”, highlighted the organisation, in a statement sent to Lusa agency.

One of the festival directors, Artur Mendes, stressed that the demand recorded reflects the trust that participants have in Boom and that this increases responsibility.

“We are a 100% independent festival, without brand sponsorship, and this confidence from the ‘boomers’, selling out tickets in two days, with nine months to go, and without an announced lineup, makes us very happy”, emphasised Arthur Mendes.

Since 2014, all editions of the Boom Festival have sold out.

The organization has a network of ambassadors who made tickets available in 55 countries on October 8th and were sold in five days.

The last Boom Festival took place in 2023, with the presence of 1228 artists from 29 nationalities.

Boom is an independent festival, without sponsors, and is recognised as environmentally conscious, with significant actions to reduce waste and greenhouse gas emissions.
