According to the budget calendar published on the Assembly of the Republic's website, Minister Joaquim Miranda Sarmento's first hearing, as part of the discussion of OE2025 in general, will take place on October 28th.
The following day, the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, Maria do Rosário Palma Ramalho, will be heard at the Budget, Finance and Public Administration Commission (COFAP).
On the 30th and 31st of October, the discussion and vote on the majority of OE2025 will take place in plenary, which has guaranteed approval following the announcement by the secretary general of the PS that he will propose to the National Political Commission, which meets today, that the party abstain overall and in the final global vote.
Between the 4th and 15th of November, the commissioned hearings of the various ministers and entities will take place.
On the 15th, the Minister of State and Finance and the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security will be heard again. On the same day, the deadline for parties to present proposed amendments to OE2025 ends.
Between November 22nd and 28th, parliament will debate the specialty in plenary sessions in the morning and votes at COFAP in the afternoon.
On November 29th, the debate around OE2025 will end and the final global vote will take place.
December 16th is the deadline for the final draft of OE2025.
