Carlos Moedas was speaking to journalists at the inauguration of the AI ​​HUB by Unicorn Factory x Microsoft, equipment that will reinforce the thematic 'hubs' of the network of innovation centers that the Lisbon City Council is developing in city.

“We are presenting, at this moment, what will be the largest budget ever presented in Lisbon […], a budget that invests in people and in what is important to people”, said the mayor, highlighting the importance of the size of the budget that will be “very important for solving problems” in the city.

The PSD/CDS-PP leadership in the Lisbon City Council presented a municipal budget of 1,359 million euros for 2025, slightly higher than the 1,303 million predicted for this year, announced the vice-president of the municipality, Filipe Anacoreta Correia (CDS-PP) .

The vice-president of the chamber and responsible for the Finance department, revealed that Lisbon's proposed municipal budget for 2025 is 1,359 million euros (ME), with 918 ME expected for current expenses and 441 ME for capital expenses .

Carlos Moedas stressed that the municipal budget continues to focus on housing, remembering the 560 million euros signed over the last few years and that “they will continue with great strength”.
