Between 11th November and 6th December, Bright International School’s community came together in an inspiring initiative to support families in need through a food collection campaign in partnership with the Existir Association. Known for its commitment to nurturing strong community values, the school once again demonstrated the power of collective action to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.

Existir, a local charity, plays a vital role in the Algarve region, providing critical assistance to 150 individuals with disabilities and food aid to 400 people. The organisation’s efforts focus on social integration and education through innovative initiatives such as a social shop offering low-cost essentials and a sensory garden designed to enhance community wellbeing.

Throughout the campaign, Bright International School’s community actively supported Existir. Students, parents, and staff united to collect food items and raise funds for the cause. Students took the lead by organising creative stalls within the school, where they hosted games to engage their peers and raised money for the initiative. These activities not only contributed to the campaign but also provided students with valuable lessons in economics, teamwork, and social responsibility.
