This year, Swiss Federal Railways will operate an additional 1,600 trains for the transportation of passengers to special events such as the UEFA Women’s EURO and the Eurovision Song Contest.

These special trains will serve more than 1,400 events in 2025, with 2,000 customer service officials set to be deployed at various locations.
Other major events taking place in Switzerland include the Federal Gymnastics Festival, and the Austrian Wrestling and Alpine Festival.
