Despite the challenges, he remains full of hope and love. Currently recovering in a foster home after being bitten by another dog, Scout can only stay there until mid-February. The thought of him returning to the canil after experiencing the warmth of a home is heartbreaking.

Scout is an exceptional companion. He loves trips to the beach, enjoys cuddles, and is always up for playtime. His gentle nature makes him great with other dogs, and friendly with cats, and he absolutely adores people - he has been patiently waiting for the day his forever family comes along.

Scout’s kennel mate recently found a loving home, which gives us all hope that his turn is just around the corner. He is castrated and healthy, and ready to call somewhere home for good.

By sharing Scout’s story, or considering adoption if you’re looking to extend your family - you can make a huge difference.

Let’s continue to work together to “Keep Scout Out” of the canil and place him in a home filled with love, care, and happiness.

If you’d like more information about Scout or want to arrange a meeting, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Canil de Portimão team.
