The chain, which arrived in the country in February 2023, already has ten spaces in operation and plans to open six more stores in the coming months.

After opening stores in Alverca and Penafiel at the end of last year, the company has already confirmed new openings in Évora, Viana do Castelo, Vila Nova de Gaia, Aveiro and Sintra, in addition to the expansion to the Algarve. Although an official date for the opening of the Portimão store has not yet been announced, Action has already started recruiting for this new space.

Among the features that make Action a reference in the low-cost segment, the offer of 1,500 products for less than 1 euro and an average price below 2 euros stands out. Every week, around 150 new products are introduced to stores, according to a report by ECO.

According to the retailer, low prices are the result of a business model based on purchasing large quantities and efficient logistics. “We purchase in large quantities, which means lower costs. Furthermore, we are efficient in the way we purchase, transport, store and sell our inventory”, explains the company.
