Practically doubling its participation compared to last year, Sara Silva, president of the CVA board, “it is very important that events like the Enóphilo Wine Fest decide to invest in the region and in Algarve Wines. For our producers, it is essential to have these fairs to promote their wines to a wide audience.”

The person in charge also indicates that in the Algarve there are wines of "excellent quality", and that the event will be another opportunity to make the general public and professionals aware of the region's wines.

In the Algarve, the wine sector is growing, currently with 60 producers, 40% of which are foreign, who make certified wines and reached, in 2024, a total volume of around 2 million litres. This demonstrates not only the dynamism of the region but also the potential of the Algarve as a showcase for national wines on the foreign market, according to the president of CVA.

Among the producers present, we will have 42 wine brands, which the general public will be able to taste. They are: Specifically from the Algarve region, the producers will be present: Sul Composto, Quinta do Canhoto, Adega do Cantor, Dito Cujo, Arvad, Quinta dos Sentidos, Quinta dos Santos, Quinta do Rogel, Quinta da Penina, Adega Sampaio Schleiss, Casa Santos Lima, Cabrita Wines, Vinhas de Nexe, Agrolares, Túlio Costa and Quinta dos Vales.

These 42 producers bring with them more than 300 wines, which represent the best from north to south of Portugal.

The event will take place at the congress centre of the Hotel D. Pedro Vilamoura, on March 8, from 3pm to 8pm. Entry costs €20, which entitles you to a loan glass and free tasting of all the wines. The pre-sale is currently taking place, where you can take advantage of a 25% discount, that is, just €15.
