The group is preparing to open its second hotel unit in the Algarve, the PortoBay Blue Ocean, in “mid-July”, in the building of the former TUI Blue Falésia.

With 350 rooms, this hotel will be connected via the garden to the PortoBay Falésia, with 310 rooms, “opening all the facilities to the guests of both hotels”, according to António Trindade.

PortoBay Falésia is “more linked to the sporting aspect” – which is why the group will open a new sports centre in this hotel in March, while PortoBay Blue Ocean will be more associated with a lifestyle hotel, according to a report by Publituris.
