The sweet event starts at 2 pm and ends at 7 pm, offering a wide range of traditional sweets and liqueurs. Although it seems to be an event for adults, there is plenty for the youngest members of the family to do as various free activities have been planned, such as a children's workshop, face painting, balloon modelling, carousels and even treats like cotton candy and popcorn, according to Postal.
During the two days, there will be street entertainment, with performances by ‘Da Cruz One Man Band’, ‘Sonambolix - Companhia Marimbondo’, ‘Chiclateria’ and ‘Oly and Mary’.
Closing the first day of Grandma's Sweets Fair, and taking advantage of the Easter season, is a livelydance scheduled for the evening of Friday 18 April, starting at 9 pm, with a musical performance by Silvino Campos, the same media outlet reveals.
