Lisbon: It is to be a mainly dry weekend in the capital with temperatures peaking at 27 degrees and dropping to lows of 18 degrees. From Monday the rain clouds are to roll in again, with the heaviest of the showers predicted for Tuesday. It will still be feeling warm with highs of 25 degrees and lows of 19 degrees.
The north: A break in the wet weather is expected over the weekend when temperatures are to reach highs of 25 degrees and lows of 14 degrees. From Monday the rain is set to return, although sunny spells are predicted for the remainder of the week when temperatures are to average highs of 24 degrees.
The centre: Hazy sunshine is forecast for the weekend while temperatures are to peak at highs of 28 degrees and drop to lows of 15 degrees. The new week will see rain showers returning and temperatures then dropping to daily average highs of 24 degrees and nightly average lows of 16 degrees.
The south: The fair weather is set to continue this weekend with temperatures reaching highs of 28 degrees and nightly lows of 19 degrees. From Monday rain is predicted although showers are to be light and sunny spells are expected with temperatures peaking at 25 degrees and dropping to lows of 18 degrees.
Madeira: A mainly dry weekend is expected although less sunshine is predicted on Sunday when temperatures will reach highs of 27 degrees and lows of 23 degrees. Rain is forecast for Monday but this is to stop again on Tuesday when it is to remain mainly dry for the remainder of the week.
The Azores: Rain is predicted over the weekend with the heaviest of showers expected on Sunday. Sunshine and showers are then set for the rest of the week when temperatures are to reach highs of 25 degrees and nightly lows of 19 degrees.
