It comes after the government announced last Friday that the second phase, originally scheduled for September, had been brought forward after the county reached 70% of the population fully vaccinated.

Among the rule changes are that from today, restaurants and cafés can now have a maximum limit of eight people per group inside and groups of up to 15 people outside; events (namely weddings, christenings and cultural shows) will have a maximum limit of 75% capacity, and there are no more restrictions on passengers in taxis or on public transport.
