In a statement, the Ministry of Health said that the Government authorised the opening of competitions to fill jobs in nursing careers, in the categories of nurse manager (522) and nurse specialist (1,383).

Tenders were also opened for the senior pharmacist advisor (20 jobs) and pharmacist advisor (80) categories.

As for senior health technicians, a competition was opened in the categories of senior advisor (25), advisor (40) and principal assistant (90 jobs).

"This measure aims to allow the gradual rebalancing of the internal hierarchy of careers, giving the respective workers a perspective of the future within the National Health Service, resuming the normal development of careers", says the Ministry of Health in the note.
