According to that body, by 23:59 on 2 February there were 1,312 people in an infirmary, 12 more than on Monday, and 134 in intensive care units, six more, 103 of whom were ventilated.
The occupancy rate in wards and intensive care units in hospitals in the region is 93 percent and 85 percent respectively.
However, according to the ARSC report, 119 hospital discharges were issued for patients on the ward and three for intensive care units, an increase on the previous day.
On 2 February, hospitals in the Centro region still registered 33 deaths in hospital environment, five fewer than the previous day, which represents a decrease in two consecutive days.
