According to the source, at 10:15 am, road traffic is forbidden on the Piornos / Torre, Torre / Lagoa Comprida and Lagoa Comprida / Loriga and Lagoa Comprida / Cruzeiro do Sabugueiro sections.

The districts of Guarda and Castelo Branco are today under a yellow warning due to snowfall above 1,200 / 1,400 metres.

According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), this snow warning started at 03:50 am today and will be in effect until 00:00 on Tuesday.

The IPMA foresees for today "periods of rain, more frequent in the North and Center and snowfall in the highlands of the North and Center".
