The incident took place during the month of September, in Lagos, and occurred on a public road, close to a nightlife establishment.

The PJ states that following a confrontation between the victim and the aggressor, "the latter took out a razor with a 7cm blade that he was carrying in his pocket and gave him a sharp-puncturing blow in the iliac region, causing profuse bleeding".

The victim was only able to survive due to the quick intervention of the medical emergency services, according to a report by CM.
