In addition to these municipalities of the district of Bragança, also the Association of Douro Superior Municipalities (AMDS), of which these three municipalities are part, were requested several documents related to this investigation.

The mayor of Torre de Moncorvo, Nuno Gonçalves, said that several documents were requested and delivered to the inspectors.

"Documents were requested related to the process in question between the period 2011 to 2021," indicated the also president of AMDS.

The PJ also passed by the Miranda do Douro City Council as part of another investigation, related to the signage and cleaning of the International Douro Pedestrian Route, the mayor, Artur Nunes, told Lusa.

"The local authority cooperated with the inspectors and provided all the requested documentation, the mayor added.
