The structure called “Funeral Booking” is based in the Aveiro district but covers all the country and has already 60 funeral agencies registered on the website, which is free to use for customers.

The concept came from Paulo Seco, who after several years working in the health sector and in contact with residential structures for the elderly, created a service to meet the needs of the market.

Paulo Seco explained to Lusa News Agency: “At a time that is so difficult because a loved one has passed away, it was found that it was difficult for families to choose an appropriate funeral home, this service aims to remove this issue.”
