The Official Bulletin of the Spanish State (corresponding to the Diário da República in Portugal) published on 12 November the list of areas and countries considered to be at risk for entry by air or sea into Spain.
Travel agents, tour operators and air or sea transport companies and any other agent selling tickets must inform passengers at the beginning of the ticket sales process to Spain.
"All passengers coming from a country or area at risk listed in Annex II who wish to enter Spain must undergo an Active Infection Diagnostic Test for SARS-CoV-2 with a negative result, carried out within 72 hours prior to arrival in Spain", according to the published standard, which adds that the document must be written in Spanish and/or English.
For European countries and the Schengen area, the risk map drawn up by the European Centre for Disease Control is followed, which uses the cumulative Covid-19 case notification rate over the last 14 days, the rate of positive results and the test rate.
They will thus have to submit a PCR test carried out 72 hours before arrival to the vast majority of EU Member States, including "Portugal (except the Autonomous Region of the Azores Islands)", with Finland, Greece and several regions of Norway remaining off this list.
IT IS VERY DISGRACEFUL THAT A SMALL COUNTRY LIKE PORTUGAL CANNOT CONTROL THE PANDEMIC TO A CERTAIN LEVEL. IT SHOWS THAT THE GOD OF IMMIGRANTS ARE REALLY ANGRY.

I never understood, back when Algarve had only 18 fatalities, why the border with Spain was still open.

Hey Princie, Why don't you show them how to do it? You seem so knowledgeable about how to manage the Covid-19 outbreak. It seems like the Portuguese government could really use your expertise. Also, there is no God of the immigrants. There is only one God and His Son Jesus Christ, who died for all of our sins, including those of immigrants, kings, rich and poor.

I think that all countries should do that, at least they know they are safe and at the same time they dont spread the virus. Even in 72 hours people can still get the virus but the will reduce the risk.
If you think you are ok, you dont need to be afraid of doing the test, is simples as that
