The base will be home to three Airbus A319 planes, which will fly to 18 international destinations. No recruitment for the base was expected to take place in the Algarve, as personnel will be transferred from other bases, namely Lisbon and Porto, but also from such as Germany, France and the United Kingdom.

We queued for Over 1 hour and a half to get back from UK in the passport control area of Faro ! ,people very close to each other It was a disaster !
We are residents but got no assistance although it was requested !I hope this new hub will not cause even more long queues !!!
